A Bit About Me
I’m Puja Devanand Rao, and I’m genuinely passionate about walking alongside people as they navigate life’s ups and downs. I believe therapy works best when it’s a space where you feel safe, seen, and understood, where you can explore who you are without judgment.
I love helping individuals, parents, adolescents, and couples build clarity, resilience, and stronger connections with themselves and others. As a woman and person of colour, I understand how important it is to have a therapist who respects your family, culture, and identity. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you can truly be yourself and work toward the changes you want to see.
I offer in-person sessions at Anchored Therapy Centre for clients from Mississauga, Milton, Georgetown, Brampton, Oakville, and surrounding areas, as well as online sessions across Ontario.
Whether you’re seeking individual, adolescent, or couples therapy, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Puja Devanand Rao is a compassionate Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a master’s degree in counselling psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is passionate about guiding people through their healing journey and helping them reclaim a sense of safety and balance in their lives.
She has worked with teens, adults, and couples from all walks of life, supporting those experiencing stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, panic attacks, and more. Puja brings a trauma-focused approach to therapy, helping clients work through past experiences, including childhood trauma, and navigate challenges such as trauma, perinatal depression, maternal mental health, cultural or family conflicts, relationship issues, intimacy, grief, and life transitions.
